Step by Step Golf Swing Instruction

Learning to play golf requires learning to swing the club in such a way as to be able to make a variety of long or short shots depending on what is required. For those just starting, some lessons in how to swing the clubs would be very useful. The best way to start is to take step by step golf swing lessons. Some instructors will divide the steps into three very basic categories, while others will take them and divide them into more sub-categories, but either way they all agree that the right stance and power in your swing is what makes a great golfer.

If you were being taught the step by step golf swing philosophy then you would be told that the first thing you must learn is the right swing set up. You need to stand with your feet slightly apart, bent forward from the hips. Think of yourself as bowing and that will give you the position you should have. You need to keep your arms close together and keep your elbows straight. Don’t put your chin all the way down onto our chest. When following this step by step golf swing instruction remember to keep your feet slightly apart bending your knees just the tiniest bit.

Continuing to follow you step by step golf swing instruction you then need to concentrate on the backswing. Your arms should be straight. The left one especially while the shoulders must be relaxed as you pull back. Keep the body in the right position, do not twist or bend your wrists. Make sure the swing is timed well. If it is too slow or you are speeding through it the resulting swing will not be good.

The last part of your step by step golf swing instruction explains the impact. This is when the club hits the ball and hopefully sends it flying. This is what tells you if you have made a good swing. As you come down your left arm is straight and your right arm is following it. You have balanced your stance with a weight shift from the left foot to the left heel. The clack of the club hits the ball and you watch it fly satisfied as it travels because you have made a good swing.
